S A N T O S & METROVELVET fans ....
I have a few online friends and fans that love my work as fashion editor, some of them via Facebook some others via Twitter, all of them pretty much know what I like and
my taste and choices when it comes about fashion.
Since recently my latest obsession is Gianni Versace's work, which I've been tweeting , facebooking and writing about night & day, it seems like most of my followers already know what to
expect from my fashion taste in the upcoming months ....
Well, one of them is a dear fan and friend via Facebook, who actually pretty much knows my fashion taste and my sensibility for art work, this afternoon I felt so flattered when one of the S A N T O S fans drew a look from the Versace Uomo s/s 2012 runway, send it to me, and told me she was thinking on me while drawing the sketch, I would like to thank Adri Manzano for drawing this specially for me.
It's really nice when you have connection with people that have same sensibility for art , fashion
and share same taste, regardless of my fashion work as writer, it's not easy to receive that kind of attention everyday ...
So flattered thanks Adri !!!
Jean Paul Gaultier & Stella McCartney tweet at me, and Metrovelvet !!!!!!
Twitter has become the barometer of publicity and advertising for many companies, restaurants and God knows for what else ...
But off course fashion is one of them, I always tweet my work via Metrovelvet, which it has gave me a wonderful chance to put my words about fashion out there to the audience.
My purpose as US fashion editor of Metrovelvet, is to give the website a high fashion twist,
I always include presentations, expositions, runway shows and everything related to the latest news in fashion, however, as I'm in charge and based in the U.S, I can't sadly cover events outside the country, but in Metrovelvet we have an editor in Canada and in companion with our photographer, Michael Ching they assisted to an exclusive Jean Paul Gaultier exposition, in which Jean Paul Gaultier in person gave a press conference and explained all his work and purpose of the exhibition, which frames the retrospective work from the designer and shows the most memorable avant-garde pieces from almost all his famous couture collections.
So, a few days ago, we found out that Jean Paul Gaultier twitter account, tweet at us and also took one the main pictures from our exclusive coverage and put it in their
twitpic account, how cool and amazing is that ?....

I would like to highlight that Metrovlevet group feel's so happy

In the other hand, with all the womenswear resort 2012 collection, I received pictures from Stella McCartney resort 2012 , which I wrote a review about .
That afternoon I started tweeting my work via Metrovelvet, and minutes later, Stella McCartney's twitter account re-tweeted my tweet....
Maybe some people will consider it stupid, but I feel those are my first footprints in the world of fashion

Versace Uomo spring summer 2012
Donatella Versace took the right direction this time for Versace Uomo s/s 2012, she's going back to the routes of the label , in which she's taking the most memorable styles, concepts, silhouettes and famous baroque prints that his brother Gianni made so famous back in the 70's and 80's.
